Morton Lochs, Tentsmuir NNR, Fife

 Pastures new on Wednesday, we drove up to Morton Lochs. We knew it would be quiet birding wise, it's just that time of year! However we had only been there 5 minutes and this chap turned up:

We later saw two more on our walk through the forest.

Otherwise as I said very quiet, a few birds about:
Blackbird,
Chaffinch,
Dunnock

as well as Mallard, Little Grebe, Mute Swan, Moorhen, a couple of Bzzards, Greenfinch, Heron and a Treecreeper.

A few small things that stayed still long enough to photograph, which was nice;
A Ringlet Butterfly,
Common Blue Damselfly
and a Meadow Brown Butterfly.

A nice day out was had by all!
