Norfolk Birding

This may be the last post for this year and it's a catch up covering our trip to Norfolk the first week of December, it will be brief as lots to do, I can't imagine why ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„

Anyway we visited the Hawk and Owl Trust at Sculthorpe Moor, RSPBs Titchwell and Snettisham. Plus Holkham and various spots along the coast. Brancaster, Morston, Salthouses etc.

We clocked up over 80 species during the week, with 3 new species for the year, the best being the Shore Larks at Holkham and a Tawny Owl at Sculthorpe Moor. Sorry but no photos of either of those (they were rubbish!)

But here's a few from all over: Kestrel at Holkham,

Redwing at Sheringham, in the vain attempt to find the reported Waxwings, but as you saw in the previous post, Edinburgh put that to bed!
