Well here we are the 2nd day of February and nothing to report. Just to much work, no time to get out even at lunch time to get around the local patch. There's nothing much going on in the garden, just the occasional Blue & Great Tits, Sparrows, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, plus the usual Magpies and Pigeons.
Still we have Scotland to look forward to next week. The targets for the week are modest, Red Grouse, Snow Bunting, Dippers, Crested Tit and the ever elusive Crossbills. We will see Red Deer and we know where to find White Hares, but on top of that anything else is a bonus. I know where we might see Ring Ouzel, but I don't know if we will have time to get there, depends on all manner of things!
